I think it may be a little difficult to do without a little help, but it turned out good with us doing it together. Looks natural on my pale legs after we rubbed a little to smooth it out. Big difference between done leg and undone leg half way through. I'm now buying my own can - DH will have to help me smooth it next time. Would be great for those "no pantyhose" outfits.
