(More customer reviews)So I am trying Lavera products. I got this self-tanner, the texture is good, like a body lotion. It has a kinda sweet smell instead of the stinky self-tanner smell. It goes away quick too... The color, I only applied once and I could see a glow by the end of the day. I applied it a few times in a row, and even though it didn`t give me the darkest of colors, it gave me a really nice medium brown even tone. My skin is pretty fair by the way. So for me it is a good, natural, medium brown color. (I think the best to do if you want to go really-really deep, is that you apply this 1-2 times to get the EVEN medium brown color, and buy the Sun Laboratoires (I have that too) really dark tanner that works as you put it on. If you apply that on white skin and you miss a spot, you really can see it, this way it is all brown already!)...So this has good, natural ingredients! I like it a lot! :-)

(More customer reviews)I am no expert in the sunlees tanning world. I have always been a little afraid to use them when I see close friends try a product that leaves them orange, streaky, and uneven. That's not a tan, it's a distraction! But I'm getting older and I like to be tan but I don't want to damage my skin (I've got to think about wrinkles) I've been using this product for a week and I really, really love it. It goes on clear like a typical lotion. It has the sunless tanner smell (but as i understand it they all do in order to tan you) the smell does go away though! I've only used it on my face. I put it on about 30 minutes before I go to bed and my white pillow is still white in the morning when i wake up, but my face has some color!! It's not instant bronze (nor do I want it to be) and it's not like it was so subtle I barely notice either. It was perfect! The recomendations say to use every day until you get the color you want then to use every three days to maintain that color. I'm just maintaining for now. when we get into summer I'll go darker. I love the color -very natural - no streaks - no freaky eyebrows or hiarline. I was careful to blend the edges and neck when i put it on but it wasn't hard to do. I just put on an thin even layer and blended

(More customer reviews)I noticed some consumers of this product complain it doesn't work or that the color is not deep enough. It might be they are dark complexioned and have some color already. I am a very fair, very (natural platinum) blonde woman and i've used all the self tanners so I speak from experience about this one. It is subtle, all natural, absorbs well, smells good (can be used repeatedly to add more color.) I get very washed out pale look in the winter and so i really depend on this stuff to give me subtle glow. I just add one application in strategic areas ( at night after exfoliating,) to look like I was out in the sun for a little while. The next day I have enough color that I don't even wear make up. After going thru years of using other self tanners, ( hate the orange fake tan look,) I can honestly say this is the best. The spray works better than the cream, (which produces very little color for some odd reason.) If you are of dark complexion already this might not work for you. Works great for the very fair.

(More customer reviews)Tantasia Self Tanner does spread on easily. You have to really make sure you cover every spot for a fairly even tan by rubbing it in well. Still have to be careful of areas around ankles and hands. One of the two problems with this product is I find it doesn't last as long as the other tanning products such as SUN Laboratories which smells really good by the way. The other is the cost. Sure, the directions say to apply daily for the desired result, but for $34-$36, it goes pretty fast. The color is pretty natural looking but I think the cost is too high for the product. If you're just interested in an occasional tan and use it sparely, I would recommend to try it and see for yourself.
