(More customer reviews)I've always wanted to try bronzer, but have always been nervous about looking odd or orange since I'm very pale. (For reference, I'm NW20 in MAC foundation.) Since summer is approaching, I figured that this would be the year to overcome my anxiety and try a bronzer. I had looked at a few different ones online, but decided to go with this Too Faced one for several reasons: it had gotten good reviews on other websites, it was supposedly sheer, and it also wasn't supposed to be orange. I concur with all those things! This is a lovely bronzer, and yesterday (the first day I wore it) I got several compliments on how "nice" I looked.
Another nice aspect of this product is that it applies as a cream. I had been worried that it would be difficult to use for that reason, but was drawn to the idea of a cream bronzer since powder blushes tend to look dry on my almost-40 skin. This bronzer is easy to apply, and the tiny brush that is located in the bottom of the pot is super soft and makes it easy to use. It's also very sheer, which made it a bit less scary to use for a bronzer novice like me. The sheerness just imparts a nice, glowy look, and you can definitely add more layers to achieve a darker look.
One of the only negatives is that the directions that come with this are very general and vague, and they don't provide good recommendations on how to use it. I watched some videos on-line, however, and several suggested that you apply bronzer in a C- or S-shape -- starting at your temple, moving to the hollow of your cheek, and then swooping down towards your chin. They also recommended adding a swipe across your forehead, the length of your nose, your chin, and your neck and chest area -- all the places where the sun would naturally hit. Doing so seems to produce the most natural look.
Overall, I really like this! You only need a small amount, so I can see this lasting a really long time, and it also has the loveliest pina colada scent to it. If you're a bronzer newbie like me, I'd definitely recommend this product.

(More customer reviews)I use this product regularly and the quality of this particular bronzer I received was low quality...it is not like when you buy it at the store. The stores have been out of this color and I am wondering if it is because they had a bad batch and sold it to Amazon. Anyway, I have the darker color I purchased at the store and it is a totally different product that the compact I received, but in the same package. The powder has a totally different consistancy. I hope this helps. It seems like this bronzer was rejected by quality control and sold off to Amazon...

I got a FREE sample sized version of this from Sephora, fell in love & wanted more so I jumped on this. IT arrived in a big box - one pillow pack floating inside and the compact cracked and totally busted. FAIL! Because I am notoriously lazy about returning things (really, I make companies millions from my aversion to going to the post office) I crushed the rest of the product and put it into an empty Bare Minerals shaker to use as a loose poweder. Works great but would have rather had it as a compact :-(

(More customer reviews)I have never been into bronzers because, well, I am already medium toned and bronze to a certain degree. I prefer blush/brown to throw some pink on my cheeks and remain natural. The make-up I am devoted to is Bare Esenctuals Mineral Make-Up, particularly the Get Started Foundation Kit.
I thought things could not get any better as I feel gorgeous, natural, and healthy with Bare Minerals, until I got the Sephora sample of Lorac Tanializer in the mail and applied it over the Bare Minerals Foundation "Warmth" just to try it. The result was pure, luxurious decadence.
I think it is the gold pigment in this compact that really gave my cheeks the oh-la-lahh. I work as a flight attendant, and I am on display throughout the whole flight from the moment my customers walk in the door to even after I roll my little bag off the plane, and I have gotten so many comments about how luscious my complexion appears from--check this out--both men and women!
This morning I tried this stuff on without the foundation and I was amazed at it's lovely effects. I put it on my cheeks, a little on the nose, chin, and brow bone and I looked ready to go. Mind you, the whole process took no more than ten seconds.
I figure if I put on a little more I will be perfect for a casual night event. Also, if paired with black eyeliner, and a neutral lip color, I will be set for a formal event.
Such a versatile little product!
