(More customer reviews)The Jergens tanning lotion I was using smelled horrible, was sticky, and I couldn't stand it any longer. I wanted something that was not going turn me orange, smelled nice (not like tanning lotion), and gave me a slight tan when I used it. I love Hempz lotion and was REALLY excited when I found this product. It shipped quickly and works great. I love the smell, and I love that the smell only slightly lingers. It adds a little sparkle when wearing it and I have noticed that I am turning a little tan, instead of the glaring white I was. I only use it 2-3 times a week, in between my other lotions and when applying to my face, I don't wash my hands before putting on my regular face lotion. I get a little bit of the product mixed in with my regualr moisturizer and my face looks even and blended. The medium tone is perfect and I would recommend it for all skin colors, even the lightest pale. Very happy with this buy and once I run out I will buy it again!

(More customer reviews)very pleased with item + affordable + last long. did NOT turn orange (+++). exfoliate before!(for anyone reading this) lasts about 2-3 days. smell = good (++). no recommended for face obvis. but i did use it...i am an oily skin type, so it broke me out (but color came out great on face). had to use a glove from another tanner that i received for even coverage. did not stain hands like most do. it's not even straight out of the bottle, but no spray is. overall great product! looking forward to my next purchase (probably end of summer)

However I sprayed it and rubbed it into my skin. I did not use a large amount, but enough to cover my skin evenly. I waited until it dried and went to bed. I then slept and woke up to a horrible streaky orange "tan". My skin also smelled like I used a self tanner. It took about 6 days for me not to be orange.I'm sure this product would be okay for someone with a medium skin tone, but not for really fair pale people like me.
