(More customer reviews)This tanning lotion works amazingly! The tube lasts about 2 months if you tan twice in a 7 day week and mainly use it on legs and arms. The first few times were a little awkward for me when dealing with the feet and knee, elbow, wrist area. You just have to be patient (and willing to wear pants) until you get your technique down. I found that I needed to use sparingly on my feet, but not too sparingly or they just looked too white. I did the tops of my hands and wrists and feet with a cotton pad once my body was done and my hands were washed. I am very happy with the color and the ease of application once you get used to it. I used gloves.. Also doesn't appear to bleach or stain fabric.

(More customer reviews)I am a redhead. Very fair skin. I usually start going to the tanning bed around March for about 2 months to build a base tan for spring. This year, I decided to try Fake Bake because the tanning bed is bad for the skin, especially if you are fair and moley like me! I decided to apply this on a Friday night in case I came out looking like an orange and white zebra I would have the weekend to figure out what to do, but nope...this stuff is great. I followed the directions exactly and the next morning, after showering - I have a nice even color all over. I am impressed! I have used it twice now. Fakebake.com recommends using it once a week to maintain a tan. The second time I used it, same results but I am even darker. It looks like I have been going to the tanning bed. Very natural color and even. I also use Oil of Olay Quench Radiance Reviver everyday. This probably is helping maintain the tan a little longer. This is regular Oil of Olay Quench lotion with a hint of self tanner in it. It just subtly tans and says on the bottle that its just to give you a glow and not really a tan, but its great to use everyday in between using the Fake Bake once a week.

It's the best sunless tanner out there. It can be applied fast and with ease, doesn't streak, dries quickly, isn't sticky, and the original smell is good. Eventually, it does turn to the classic sunless tanner smell, but it's not very strong at all and doesn't last long. This product does, however, need a few coats to get good color but after a few coats, it is wonderful!

I have very fair skin with pink undertones, and this tanner looks natural on me. I tried several other types, and they didn't get dark enough. I'm a ballroom dancer, and I need something dark for those skimpy Latin costumes. This one did the trick! It has a bronzer so you can see where you're putting it, and it goes on flawlessly. Before I put it on, I made sure my skin was clean (but not straight out of the shower--wait until your skin cools off so it doesn't come off with the rubbing), I put regular lotion on my feet, elbows, knees, and hairline of my face so the tanner stayed light in those areas. Then, I put the sunless tanner on my legs. Washed/scrubbed my hands. Put it on my back and stomach. Washed/scrubbed my hands. Face. Arms. Washed/scrubbed my hands. Then, I put a dot on the back of one of my hands and rubbed the backs of my hands and wrists together. Then, walk around naked for 15-30 minutes. I have a flawless tan! This is the best tanner I've ever used!!!

This is the best tanning product I've EVER used and I've used most of them. The color you get is believable and so beautiful and so natural and real looking I hardly believed my eyes. It's a beautiful brown - kind of like milk chocolate color. It's a bit on the pricey side but if you want to look natural and NOT orange, yellow or anther freaky color then get this and try it. I'm pretty sure you'll love how you look. It feels so nice to have a wonderful tanned look when you're as white as I am.
I got some gloves to wear from a beautiful supply store and I use them to apply this gel. Now if you have any of those nasty brown spots they tend to get darker as you apply this gel. I cover them up with those little round band aids and when I'm done applying this product I take those off and do a little blending around them. Now even my gold jewelry looks nicer and shows up more on my ''tanned'' skin. I don't go out in the sun but I look like I do. I love it.

I used to pay $25 for the larger bottle, I believe it was the 24 oz bottle and I paid the same price for the 8 oz bottle. Im not sure if their prices have just skyrocketed but you might be able to find it cheaper at a local discount salon. I mix half lotion and half tanning lotion. It makes it last longer and because it's so dark it gives you a little more time to build up your color.

I really like the gun.. all you have to do is charge it and pour the solution into the container...very easy to use! It sprays well too. I give the gun FIVE STARS!
Now onto the solution...... To start off, I have very pale, freckled skin, that is prone to sunburn. I can get a faint tan laying in the tanning bed, but my best bet is to go sunless. So with that being said, I am very very pale..like as white as snow pale. If you have skin like mine, with NO BASE TAN, this solution WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU! I put it on just my legs last night, and when I woke up this morning there is no evidence of any sunless tanner on my legs..There is also no bronzer or tint in this solution like it states in the description. I even sprayed some of the solution on my white shower wall and there was no evidence of color. Your best bet is to buy the GUN ONLY and buy your own solution..I purchased the Oceans sunless solution ( but you can buy any solution you wish) and it has really good reviews so I am very excited to try it in my gun. THE SOLUTION GETS ONE STAR!!
So to sum it up, I rated the whole thing with 3 stars because the gun is very good and the solution included in the package is not so good.

(More customer reviews)I've been using Liquid Bronze for a few years now and I adore it. I have light olive skin with yellow undertones and this gives my face a warm, natural tan.
I do have to apply it twice to get the desired depth as it is a fairly light shade, but it's worth it. I can put makeup on within a few minutes of application. The lotion dries fast and doesn't break out my early 30's, yet acne prone skin.
The color looks quite natural on me as I have 'italian skin' and my body tans if a lightbulb is too bright (well, practically!), but I wear sunscreen on my face. I can have my face match the rest of my body with this. When I go on holiday and acquire a deeper tan, I switch to Clarins Intense Bronze which is a liquid formula.

I have had so many comments on how nice my tan looks. Not too much to look fake, but just enough. Plus it smells better than any of the other lotions out there, and it's easier to use than regular tanners, my hands don't end up orange and my face can go without makeup. (More customer reviews)I ordered this with high hopes of it being a fragrant, shimmery, light lotion to enhance my tan (as said in the product description on other beauty sites). But, after shaking the bottle briefly, I opened it and applied the lotion to my legs. That's when I smelled the most bitter, sour, and extremely perfume-y smell I have never experienced with a lotion! Not to mention, an obvious lack of shimmer anywhere on my legs. So, I rinsed it off immediately, and ironically found the remaining smell after all the lotion was washed off to be light and refreshing. I love this brand's tanning products, but this is a lotion that needs a little more review by Fake Bake.

(More customer reviews)I rarely write reviews here but felt I had to in this case. I have used all sorts of self tanners, from very high end to the daily touch of color ones. I tried this one not expecting much but what I got was subtle, natural looking color with no streaks and no orange hue. I have medium skin and chose the light to medium shade because I wanted just subtle color. I applied sparingly to my arms and chest and the product dried almost immediately. In an hour, I could see a nice bronze color developing that was subtle but flattering.
On my legs, this product looks great. I have very pasty legs and need some color. I got uniform, very natural looking color from one application. It was not super deep but I only wanted a little color, not to look baked in the sun. I also use this on my face. It's oil free and doesn't clog my pores. My face is a couple of shades deeper and looks so much healthier!
Banana Boat Sunless Summer Color Tinted Lotion, Light to Medium fades in a few days without patchiness but the color can be maintained with twice a week applications. There is no awful scent to deal with and the light tint guides me to where I need to apply it. I am not very careful when I use this and still, I have not seen a streak. I like that in three hours, I know exactly what the color will be and can apply another thin layer if I want to go darker. I usually don't. The key is to apply sparingly and not get wet for about three hours. I have had disasters with other products but not with this one.
I know everyone is different but I have used this tanner for months and never had a streak. I like the color and I like how easy it is to apply. Not having a sickening scent is a plus. Try it. It's inexpensive and can be loofahed off if you don't like it but I think many will. I am picky. I won't walk around looking like a zebra or a pumpkin and I look like neither when I use Banana Boat Sunless Summer Color Tinted Lotion, Light to Medium. I look subtly sun kissed and healthy. Can't beat that for a few bucks a tube!

(More customer reviews)Okay, let me just say that at 36 years old, I have tried a bajillion different sunless tanners over the years and never thought I'd pay this price for a sunless tanner (I bought the 32oz. bottle), BUT this stuff is worth EVERY penny!!
I received a free sample of this when I ordered a bottle of tanning lotion recently, which was already a quandry for me as I've had skin cancer removed from VERY noticeable places on my chest, neck and face over the past 2 years and my husband was terriby upset that I was going to a tanning salon before our vacation last week. My thought was...it's better to build a base tan before going rather than BURN, as that's worse for your skin. I'm a firm believer that if I'm going to Jamaica, I want everyone to know I've been to Jamaica and I better have the tan to prove it!
I no longer have to worry about that!!! After I received this product I stopped going to the tanning salon and instead used this and then used sunblock on the beach and I looked TANTASTIC from day 1! I used this product 2 times in the week leading up to the vacation and on the day we left (Thursday). We returned home on Monday evening and when I went to get my new drivers license picture on Tuesday I was SHOCKED at how tan and fresh my face/complexion looked!! ( This hasn't caused ANY breakouts for me!!)
Remember I hadn't used this since the previous Thursday and I still looked wonderfully tan!!
A very important note is that I moisturize EVERY DAY and sometimes twice a day while on vacation so this does help prolong the effects. I used Australian Gold Body Kissses which contains hemp seed oil.
OVERALL: Why haven't you already stopped reading this and ordered this wonderful product!!!!!!
